Job Description
The Mobile Outreach Program Manager is to facilitate the Mobile Outreach Program. Facilitation includes driving the Mobile Outreach vehicle as well as coordination & implementation of programming, including mobile grocery distribution. This position is part-time; up to 35 hours scheduled two weeks per month. Pre-set distribution schedule with room for flexibility and program growth.



Schedule allows for vehicle safety pre-trip inspection, vehicle load & unload, travel to distribution site, complete distribution, and data entry. Hours as currently anticipated (Monday through Friday; two weeks each month):



Monday 11:30am-5pm
Tuesday 12:30pm-6:15pm
Wednesday 8am-4pm
Thursday 10am-4pm
Friday 9am-2pm



Responsibilities
*Represent McLeod Food Shelf (MFS) in a professional manner while providing safe transportation and dignified mobile distribution of groceries
*Organize and assist with vehicle prep and scheduled maintenance (fuel, oil changes, etc.)Manage inventory and load/stock Outreach vehicle for community-based distribution
*Adhere to appropriate food safety standards for safe food distribution
*Promote and adhere to civil rights standards including fairness, equality, and elimination of food access barriers
*Organize food in the vehicle for neat and orderly client access
*Organize routes for most efficient and effective travel and timeliness
*Complete and maintain intake & distribution paperwork and data entry



Qualifications
*High school diploma or equivalent GED
*Valid Class D driver's license and clean driving record
*Experience with proper food safety and handling
*Strong interpersonal and communication skills
*Strong organizational skills
*Computer & smartphone literacy
*Experience working with and managing volunteers
*Ability to keep schedule in a fast-paced environment
*Ability to problem solve and adapt to changes
*Ability to lift up to 50lbs; team lift and maneuver of loaded wheeled food carts as appropriate

Job Type: Part-time Pay Range : $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
